Hello my name is Duncan Lawler. I am the Deputy Principal and Team Leader for preschool and kindergarten. I am excited to be leading the P/K team. I have been working in education for over 30 years and have a strong interest in early years teaching and children’s literature. Out of school I love to go to the gym, fish and travel. I am looking forward to building positive partnerships with our families to support our children in the early years.

I'm Ms Stephanie. I believe in the innate curiosity and spark of amazement within all children. I taught internationally for over a decade, living in Japan, the UAE, China and Saudi Arabia. I came home in 2020 and moved to Canberra and was fortunate enough to become part of the Mawson Primary School community.  I believe in the power of curiosity and will support our Preschool children to explore, think, create, and learn in meaningful ways. From little things big things grow!

Hi, my name is Rachael and until this year I was teaching in the primary school and have a deep love for Mawson Primary. I have a great passion for making learning fun and meaningful while following the children’s interests. Building relationships is a key part of my teaching philosophy and I love to hear stories about my students' lives outside of the classroom. In my spare time you will find me reading, cooking with my children or finding ways to be active outdoors.

Hi, I am Ms. Friend. I work in the Preschool with the Blue and Green Horses and in Kindergarten with KL . On other days I am a busy mum to four boys. I love working at Mawson and have got to know many families in my time. I am looking forward to getting to know you. I love watching children learn through play and have a passion for the arts.
