If you have prior knowledge that your child will be absent from school, parents are requested to notify the school either in writing or by telephone before the absence. If the absence occurs unexpectedly, such as with illness, parents need to contact the school by telephone and follow up in writing as soon as possible. Leaving the school grounds during school hours will also require a note to the school. Once students are at school they are not allowed to leave the grounds unless approval has been obtained from parent or carer. Students who are late for school will need to come to the front office to fill out a late slip which is then given to the class teacher.
